Hebrews 10:19-25
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,by a new and living wat opened for us through the curtain, that is his body, and since we have a great priest over tha house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled toc cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we many spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
" A Call to Persevere"
In this context we have 4 things to persevere;
1). Jesus take off the curtain that is divided the Holy Place and the most Holy Place, through tha blood of Christ, that is why we have to PERSEVERE to enter tha most Holy Place since it was being opened when Jesus Christ died on the Cross.
2.)PERSEVERE to draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith. Since we aim to enter the most Holy Place, we have to draw near to God for us to feel His presence and to seek Him.
3.)PERSEVERE to hold unswervingly to the hope we profess. Seeking God and drawing near to Him is not so easy but it will be easier to those whose heart is willing to seek God and whose heart is pure and sincere. Although serving God is not just an easy work but if we work and we do it with Joy and full of perseverance we will enjoy serving God for we know that the God to whom we serve has many promises to those who believe in Him.
4.) PERSEVERE in attending Church services. Some christians they didn't understand fully the importance of attending Church services; they have thought that even they didn't go to church but they have faith amd they are praying, and thats it. Our faith , our prayer, our devotion, singing praises are just a part of your worship, and worship is not just a part of our life, "WORSHIP IS OUR LIFE" and church is the place of worship, the place that the bible was talking about .
