Nos sentimos horrorizados y entristecidos por las noticias que llegan desde Neoal sobre las inundaciones reportadas hoy.
La ELCA está en contacto con nuestros compañeros y socios en Nepal mientras el impacto continua desarrollandose.
En este momento tan difícil los tenemos en oración a nuestros compañeros y socios, y al pueblo de Nepal y del Tíbet.
Oremos
Dios amoroso, en la comunión de Cristo estamos unidos a las pruebas y al sufrimiento de todos
acompaña al pueblo de Nepal y del Tíbet afectados por la devastadoras inundaciones repentinas.
Protegue a quien aún están en peligro, consuela a quienes lloran, fortalece a los equipos de emergencia y a los trabajos humanitarios, guia a las autoridades mientras coodinan las labores de socorro.
Rodea con tu presencia y tu paz nuestros compañeros y socios.
En medio de la incertidumbre y la perdida sostén la esperanza, el valor y la resilencia por medio de
Jesucristo nuestro Salvador y Señor.

We are horrified and saddened by the news coming from Nepal about the flash flooding today. The ELCA is in contact with our companions and partners in Nepal as the impact continues to unfold. We hold our companions and partners, and the people of Nepal and Tibet in prayer in this incredibly challenging time.
Let us pray:
Loving God, in the communion of Christ, we are joined with the trials and sufferings of all. Be with the people of Nepal and Tibet affected by devastating flash flooding. Protect those who remain in danger, comfort those who grieve, strengthen first responders and aid workers, and guide leaders as they coordinate relief efforts.
Surround our companions and partners with your presence and peace. In the midst of uncertainty and loss, sustain hope, courage, and resilience through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
