Durante estos días tuvimos la alegría de recibir la visita de Douglas Clawson y Ben Hoop, hermanos de la Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC) de Estados Unidos.

La Iglesia Evangélica Presbiteriana del Perú (IEPP) mantiene un vínculo fraternal con ellos, y agradecemos mucho la comunión y amistad que hemos podido cultivar a lo largo del tiempo. Su visita ha sido una grata oportunidad para compartir, fortalecer nuestros lazos y disfrutar de la fraternidad en Cristo.

Damos gracias a Dios por su visita y por la comunión que nos permite mantener con hermanos de la OPC.

It was a blessing to welcome our brothers and sisters from the Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi as they visited several schools in Cajamarca, sharing God's love and encouraging children through Vacation Bible School. Thank you for your faithful service. May the Lord continue to bless your ministry!

🇵🇪✝️🇺🇸 MISSION WEEK IN CAJAMARCA, PERU
From July 11–17, our dear friends from First Presbyterian Church, Jackson, MS, traveled to Cajamarca to serve alongside us — providing medical and dental care, and, most importantly, planting the seed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in five elementary schools across our city.
This mission was made possible through the joint effort of the Second Presbyterian Church of Cajamarca and the soon-to-be-organized Third Presbyterian Church of Cajamarca. As your pastor, it was my joy to lead the general coordination of the week, and to step in from time to time to help translate for our dental team. But this week was truly a team effort, and we are overflowing with gratitude for every hand that made it possible:
🙏 Our wonderful support team from Third Presbyterian Church, and a dynamic group of translators coordinated by Professor Elvis Peralta — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
🍽️ Esther and her kitchen team, who blessed our entire missionary team with delicious meals every single day of the week.
📦 Our logistics team — José Rodríguez, Edwin Luis Mendoza, and Gisela Mendoza — whose outstanding organization kept everything running smoothly.
🩺 Our medical team, led by Dr. Danny Story and Dr. Greg Flowers, who gave extraordinary care to more than 750 people from our city and the surrounding areas.
✨ Cathy May and Esther, who filled the hearts of more than 2,000 children in Cajamarca with the joy of the Gospel.
🔧 Luis Mendoza and Santos Alvarez, who faithfully maintained our building every day, keeping it ready and welcoming for every patient and doctor.
To God be all the glory for this week of service, healing, and Gospel seed-sowing in Cajamarca. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).
