_Sayyiduna Thawban رضي الله عنه narrates Nabee ﷺ said:_
*Anyone whose soul leaves his body [i.e. passes away] and he is free of three things, will enter Jannah;
1. Pride/arrogance,
2. Stealing from the spoils of war,
3. Debt.
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 2412)

“Whoever wears a garment [out] of pride and vanity, Allah Ta’ala turns away from him until he takes it off.”*

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه reports that Nabi ﷺ said:_
“The person who has the weight of a mustard seed of pride in his heart, will not enter Jannah.*_Someone said, ‘A man likes his clothing and shoes to be beautiful [i.e. will this be regarded as pride?]. *Nabi ﷺ said, ‘Allah is certainly beautiful and he loves beauty. Pride is disdaining the truth [due to self conceit and arrogance] and contempt for people.

_Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه narrates that Nabi ﷺ said:_
“The one who sends one hundred durud [salutations] upon me, Allah writes between his two eyes that this person is free from hypocrisy and hell fire and on the day of judgement, he will be kept with the martyrs۔
_(Al Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 7231)
Today being the blessed day of Friday, let us:
1. Engage in fervent duaa, especially for the oppressed.
2. Recite Surah Kahf.
3. Send abundant salutations/durood on Nabi ﷺ *صلى الله عليه وسلم

_Rasulullah ﷺ mentioned in a sermon he delivered during the days of Hajj:_
“O People! Certainly your Rabb is one, your father is one. An Arab has no virtue over a Non Arab, nor does a Non Arab have virtue over an Arab, a red skinned person is not more virtuous than a dark skinned person nor is a dark skinned person more virtuous than a red skinned person except through Taqwa. _(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 5 pg. 411)
