Destiny School is a Private School encompassing Primary and College delivering education for boys and girls from entry level to Year 15. We are located in Druces Road in Manukau City but draw an attendance from the greater South Auckland area. Launched in 2003 with one teacher and only nine students, the vision has grown to almost 200 students. Destiny School is passionate about academic and chara

cter excellence. This is recognized through the delivery of the International Cambridge Curriculum, which is the basis of academic development, and seven strands of character education (TEP) to shape the whole person. We are blessed with a fiercely dedicated staff. Their professionalism and an “anything is possible” attitude creates a powerful environment for growth. Importantly, the three-fold partnership between school, family and the local church provides a blanket of support that ensures each child gets the best possible start in life.

Today on Good Friday and throughout this weekend, we take this time to remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate price for all mankind, then rose from the grave 3 days later to be resurrected so we could live free today.

They did it!!! We won GOLD at the CM games with our Year 7&8 boys 3on3 basketball team.

Led by captain Noah Tanira, with strong play from Ariki Kirkwood and great support play from our youngest players in the team, Isaiah Snowden and Jacob Mokaraka, our team went through undefeated throughout the 3 day tournament.

It was an intense final with a draw at the end forcing us into overtime. Against a much larger opponent, with one of our players injured it would be the first team to score two points to get the win.

Another David and Goliath situation. The opposition scored the first point putting on the pressure. A few missed attempts from both teams and the crowd were screaming. Then came the winning shot from outside the arch from Noah Tanira to take the victory!!!

Congratulations and well deserved👏👏👏

A huge thank you to the CM games team and all those who were a part of making it all happen, what a great 3 days. It was a great atmosphere, competitive but also lots of fun. A special thank you to our coach, manager and helpers Miss Tukapua, Stirling McNeill, Mrs Kirkwood and Mrs Tanira🙌
