We recognise that Father’s Day can be a different experience for everyone. Whether this day is filled with celebration, gratitude, joy, or a sense of loss, we’re thinking of you and honouring the many different stories and circumstances within our church family.

Global Week of Prayer & Prayer Room 🕊

From 6–13 September 2026, churches across Aotearoa will join with the Global Church in a week of non-stop prayer for every nation on earth.

We’d love for you to join us at our Prayer Room in person on Saturday 12th September, from 9am to 3pm in the church lounge!

A Prayer for Nepal

Loving Jesus, we hold the people of Nepal before You.

For those still unaccounted for,
may they be found and brought home.

For the rescue workers searching and serving,
give them strength, wisdom and protection.

For families waiting for news,
draw near in the uncertainty and fear.

Stir the nations of the world to respond with generosity.
May help come quickly Lord whether people, resources, shelter, food and everything else that is needed.

God of mercy, be present in the devastation. Bring hope into the darkness, and let those who are suffering know they are not forgotten.

We pray to you our God who hold the world in your hands. Thank you that you are in the midst of the despair and suffering and we can bring our burden for Nepal to you today.

Amen.
