Well done Heather.
Very well deserved and we are so thankful for all you do for St Mary's Church.

RCP Bouquet goes to Heather Laurie

Heather’s neighbour, Jill Stitchbury, nominated Heather Laurie. She says:
“Heather so deserves recognition for all the selfless things she does for so many people. St Mary’s Church benefits from all the floral arrangements she does for them, for weekly services and special events.

She makes winter track pants and gives them to organisations (out of her own pocket), visits rest homes to help with craft classes and helps run a local exercise class. A couple of members don’t drive, so she picks them up and afterwards takes them to get their groceries.

The RCP was able to surprise Heather in her home with a beautiful bouquet prepared by Nichola and her team at the Flower Room.

The church was beautifully decorated to celebrate the feast of Pentecost Sunday. Parishioners welcomed the hand made doves/flames with fruits of the spirit.
Thank you to the wonderful ladies who created this.
