Hi team - if you haven't been at church for the last number of weeks and haven't heard it in our notices, there's NO regular on Sunday this weekend (King's Birthday). We do this every year to enable our team to attend a hui.
However, our lovely friends from the Fijian congregation will be using the church during our normal slot, and we wish them a happy and blessed morning.

If you want alternative church services, check out our friends down at CLIFFLIFE 10.30 on Rangiora Street, or head into town for an Anglican service at Christ Church on Wicksteed Street, 8.30am or 10am.

Have a safe weekend!
Thanks Archbishop Justin for the photo!

We are stoked to collaborate once again with our friends CLIFFLIFE church to bring our usual Easter church services to our neighborhood.
Both services are family friendly this year, and both are followed by kai and connection (free woodfire pizza and a bouncy castle on Sunday, just saying!)
CliffLife is located at 16 Rangiora Street, and St. Luke's at 34 Manuka Street (if you mix them up and come to the wrong one on the wrong day they're within a minute's drive of each other 😊)

See my below comment for weather update!

Kia ora St. Luke's family and beyond - we hope you are enjoying your summer so far. We don't meet in the St. Luke's building until the 1st of Feb, but this coming Sunday is our combined Anglican churches service in the Bason Botanic Gardens, under the trees, followed by a shared lunch. It's always a beautiful way to start the year together, and we do encourage you to come if you can make it :) This year we will also have a guest speaker - Alexander Venter, who was one of the amazing keynotes at New Wine festival this past weekend.
More details at https://www.whanganuianglicans.org.nz/events
BYO seating, if you can bring some DIY picnic lunch that'd be great, but we'll bring some extra kai if anyone isn't able to or forgets.
If it rains, I'll post here - we'll probably end up moved to Christ Church on Wicksteed Street.
Love to see you there!

It's that time again!! Bring your mates, bring your family, run, dance, sing, snack your way across the line to Christmas with us at Cliffmas Carols.
Wet weather updates will be posted on social media pages (here and elsewhere), and on the fence at CliffLife.

We look forward to seeing you and yours there ❤️
