Once a week in our house we try and "play a bible story". I will have been that week collecting a few props for a story. And so then we sit down at dinner time and I tell the story by playing with the toys(props). Then James plays parts of. the story. I figure that sharing our faith with our kids can be simple, easy and fun. This is all of that. This story is the one about the Widow and Elijah asking her to make his some food. And how the flour pot never runs dry. You will see our props are so simple.

Last week in the preschool program we were learning about the red sea. And how God frees us. One of the things we do is. that we have a few peek a boo boxes. We hide in the boxes, things from the story. It creates a talking point. And its a lot of fun. I think it is a great thing to do with all ages. Check out the simple peek a boo boxes.
