In this verse, Satan is speaking to God about Job. The “hedge” is a picture of God’s protection, favor, and covering around Job, his family, and his possessions.

Let us remember that all that we have is from God. He gives and he takes. No matter what challenges we face, His presence goes before us, surrounds us, and keeps us. May we continue to worship with grateful hearts, knowing that we are covered by His love and care.

Takeaway:
Reminding us that while a chapter of life can feel completely bitter, there is always hope, a new chapter, a new beginning to every sea*on that comes to pass.

Today’s sermon teaches us that the Gospel was never meant to stay in one place. Even through trials, God still moves, heals, and reaches people. From Acts 8 verses 17–21, we were challenged to look at our hearts because the power of God isn’t something to be bought or performed, but something surrendered to.

May we be people who carry His presence everywhere we go.
