SUSTAINABILITY UPDATE
With the effects of environmental crises showing up more and more frequently in Aotearoa and around the world it can feel tempting to think it’s all too big and to not engage. However, I’ve found connecting with other concerned people in our local communities an effective way to counteract that feeling. In early August I attended the Wellington eco churches regional gathering in Tawa. Over 30 of us explored this year's Season of Creation theme, Living Water, talking about the health of our waterways, and the changes and challenges facing Wellington water at present. The biggest gift though was making and renewing connections with others just as passionate about doing their little bit in our communities.

There are a couple of upcoming local events in September that may be of interest:

Snacks and drinks provided, children welcome. Further information https://anglicanmovement.nz/blog/great-transport-forum-69cdy
