Sunday Service & Holy Communion Reflection

What an awesome Sunday Service and Holy Communion as we gathered in God’s holy presence, surrendering our hearts and lives before Him in worship and thanksgiving.

Rev. Mala shared a powerful message from Luke 18, asking the question:

“When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

The challenge was clear: Keep holding on to your faith, because our journey with Christ is a journey of faith from beginning to end.

* Romans 1:17 — “The righteous will live by faith.”
* Hebrews 12:2 — “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.”
* 2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
* Ephesians 2:8 — “For by grace you have been saved through faith.”

1. Our Journey Begins and Ends with Faith

Faith is the foundation of our walk with God. Through faith:

* We are justified.
* We are washed.
* We are sanctified.

Everything God has done in us and through us begins with faith and continues through faith.

2. Saved by Grace Through Faith

Salvation is not something we earn through our own efforts. It is God’s gift of grace received through faith.

Romans 5:2 reminds us that through Christ, we have gained access by faith into the grace in which we now stand.

We thank God for His amazing grace that sustains us daily. It is His grace that carries us through every season, and through faith we can boldly access His throne of grace.

3. Overcoming Faith

From 1 John, we are reminded that we can overcome through faith.

To be an overcomer, we must stay connected:

* Connected to God’s Word.
* Connected through prayer.

Faith produces conviction, and conviction produces perseverance. A believer who is grounded in God’s Word and committed in prayer becomes unstoppable.

Be committed to the little things.
Small acts of obedience build strong faith and lasting character.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Hold firmly to your faith regardless of what you face. God’s grace is sufficient, His promises remain true, and through faith we are more than conquerors.

Faith started the journey, faith sustains the journey, and faith will finish the journey.

Galatians 6:9

Speaker: Radini Dolores Rawaqa

Galatians 6:9 encourages believers to persevere in doing good and not become weary, because God is faithful and the harvest will come in His appointed time.

1. Persevere and Don’t Give Up

Perseverance means continuing to move forward despite challenges and discouragement. We serve a miracle-working God who can change situations in an instant. Whatever season you are in, do not grow weary, because God will provide the strength you need each day.

2. Trust God’s Timing

The harvest comes in God’s due season, not according to our timetable. Every act of obedience, every prayer, and every seed sown is seen by God. Though the results may not be immediate, God promises that a harvest will come at the right time.

3. Speak Life and Faith

The words we speak shape the atmosphere around us. Negative words produce negativity, while faith-filled words produce hope and confidence. Scripture reminds us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Therefore, speak God’s promises, grace, and victory over your life.

4. Remain Confident in God’s Plan

God has placed each person where they are for a purpose. There will be difficult days when nothing seems to be working, but God knows exactly what He is doing. Keep moving forward in faith, trusting that He will provide and guide you through every season.

5. Stay Planted and Depend on Grace

God gives the grace to endure, remain faithful, and continue growing where He has planted you. Instead of speaking defeat, declare God’s grace over your life and circumstances.

Key:

* Do not grow weary in doing good.
* God’s timing is perfect, and your harvest is coming.
* Every prayer and act of obedience is a seed.
* Your words have power—speak faith, hope, and grace.
* Stay confident in God’s purpose and provision.
* Keep moving forward, even when circumstances seem difficult.
* What you are doing for God is not in vain

“I will not grow weary. I will persevere in faith, speak life over my situation, trust God’s timing, and believe that in due season I will reap the harvest He has promised.”

Galatians 6:9 reminds us that perseverance, faith-filled confession, and trust in God’s timing will always lead to a fruitful harvest in His appointed season.

Psalm 27

Speaker: Radini Dolores Rawaqa

Psalm 27 reminds us that fear hinders growth, but when God is at the center of our lives, we can grow spiritually and walk confidently in His purpose.

1. The Lord is My Light

David wrote this psalm during a season of opposition and uncertainty. Rather than focusing on his problems, he fixed his eyes on God. Psalm 27 is a declaration of faith, confidence, and victory. When God is our light, He guides our path and removes the darkness of fear.

2. The Lord is My Salvation

Salvation brings deliverance, rescue, preservation, and victory. Our security is not found in people, money, jobs, or circumstances—it is found in Christ alone. As believers, we must build a relationship with God through His Word and understand the purpose of the salvation we have received.

3. The Lord is the Strength of My Life

God is our fortress, refuge, and defender. As we confess and believe His Word, He strengthens us to face life’s challenges. Faithfulness in the small things prepares us for greater responsibilities and purposes that God has already planned for us.

Key Lessons

* Fear limits growth; faith in God produces growth.
* Confidence in God brings victory over fear.
* True security is found in Christ alone.
* God is our strength, refuge, and defender.
* Remain faithful where God has placed you, and He will lead you into greater purpose.
* Continually declare God’s Word over your life and trust His promises.

“My strength is not in myself; my strength is in the Lord. My security is not in money, people, or circumstances—my security is in God alone.”
