Come an join the Vigil on Sunday

Join us for an all-night vigil outside Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, overlooking Parliament, to express our opposition to the government’s proposed Move-On Orders for people sleeping rough, and to dream, pray and advocate for alternative solutions to homelessness.

Come prepared to listen to others, to play board games and to hear speeches, music and poetry that spark your imagination.

We invite you to stay through the night, so bring a sleeping bag or blanket and come prepared to dwell outside in the cold as we keep vigil and pray for a more compassionate future. There will also be an opportunity to write a letter to politicians asking them to change direction. Whatever part of the event you can attend - evening, overnight, and/or morning breakfast - please come along.

We’ve had a few last-minute spaces open up in our Seasons for Growth - Supporting Adult Wellbeing in Our Community workshop in Wellington (13–14 April), and would love to fill them with the right people.

This 2-day training is for anyone working with or supporting adults through change, loss or grief, or those with a strong interest in this space.

You’ll be introduced to the Seasons for Growth Adult Programme and gain practical tools to:
• Support people navigating change and loss
• Understand a wide range of grief responses
• Facilitate meaningful, reflective conversations
• Build resilience and wellbeing in individuals and groups

It’s also a great opportunity to connect with others doing similar work in a supportive environment.
