Biblical counselling is not something to be outsourced or reserved for a small group of specialists.

Rather, it is a natural outworking of faithful pastoral care and everyday discipleship within the life of the church.

Our desire is to see churches across New Zealand:

✅ Organised and supported to care well for their own people
✅ Equipped to train members to wisely and lovingly apply Scripture to real struggles
✅ Positioned to serve not only their congregations, but their wider communities

🌿 This is a grassroots vision - growing from the local church outward, not driven by a distant organisation.

✈️ Travel update for the conference

If you’re considering attending the South Island Biblical Counselling Conference, it’s worth knowing that flights to and from Christchurch on the conference weekend are currently quite affordable, with good options available through Jetstar at the moment.

Auckland to Christchurch (return) - currently $65 each way
Hamilton to Christchurch (return) - currently $75 each way
Wellington to Christchurch (return) - currently $59 each way

With the conference being free of charge, travel is often the main cost - and right now is a great time to check flights.
