Following on from last year’s Remembrance Service we have decided to hold one annually. The season of Matariki seems appropriate as it is a time of remembrance and looking forward.

The Remembrance Service is a time to gather, as a ‘communion of Saints’ to remember those we love, who have died.

It is also an opportunity to invite friends and family as we all stand authentically together, however recent or long ago our loss.

Afternoon tea following the service provides time for conversation and sharing of stories – and meeting with those who may not be part of the faith community.

As part of being authentic community we want to reach out to those we know. Lets take this opportunity to invite those in our families, community and workplace who might find such an opportunity helpful.

We continue the focus on our Authentic Community Value and we are going to be dipping our toe into Deuteronomy.

Moses stands on the edge of the promised land and reminds Israel as a nation to be faithful to God and his ways. So over the next few weeks, we are going to be looking at being A covenanted people who need to trust and obey God, remembering what he has done, loving him and in all that we will be a blessed people!

These five weeks will be a great opportunity to consider our faithfulness to God as an individual and as a community.

In case you missed any of the Sermons or wish to watch any a second time. watch them here.

As we continue to focus on our Authentic Community Value we are going to be dipping our toe into Deuteronomy as our next sermon series starting next Sunday.

Moses stands on the edge of the promised land and reminds Israel as a nation to be faithful to God and his ways. So over the next few weeks, we are going to be looking at being a covenanted people that need to trust and obey God, remembering what he has done, loving him and in all that we will be a blessed people!

These five weeks will be a great opportunity to consider our faithfulness to God as an individual and as a community.

We look forward to seeing you all then as we explore our way through Deuteronomy.
