The Sisters of St Peter Claver are holding a shared spring dinner fundraiser – and everyone is invited.

Date: Saturday, 10 October
Time: 6pm (note dinner is served 6.30pm sharp)
Place: St Anne’s Catholic Church hall, 22 Emmett Street, Newtown
Admission: $15 ($10 for kinds 6 to 12 years, and free for children 5 years and under)

The Church Mission group are facilitating a workshop explaining the process of the Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA). This workshop is for all those who coordinate the OCIA in the parish, or those who are on an OCIA team.

The Choice to Forgive

Forgiveness is often easier said than done. When someone hurts us or treats us unfairly, our natural reaction can be to defend ourselves or respond in the same way. Yet the readings this Sunday remind us that forgiveness is a choice we are called to make again and again. In the Gospel, Jesus speaks about forgiveness twice. First, Peter asks how many times he should forgive someone who hurts him....
