65 rangatahi and leaders from across Aotearoa are gathering at Te Maungarongo Marae, Ōhope Beach this King's Birthday Weekend for Rangatahi Noho Marae.

The Leprosy Mission NZ is offering an extraordinary opportunity for young New Zealanders aged 18–24: the Youth Advocate Scholarship — a fully-funded trip to Kathmandu to witness and support life-changing work with people affected by leprosy.

You'll visit Anandaban Hospital, meet people whose lives have been transformed by compassionate care, explore community rehabilitation projects, and trek in the Kathmandu Valley. All flights, accommodation, meals and insurance are covered. You just need to show up ready.

If you've been thinking about sending rangatahi to the Noho Marae — now's the time to lock it in. Early bird registration for the Rangatahi Noho Marae closes this Monday 4 May, and after that the price goes up from $145 to $160 per person.

King's Birthday Weekend (30 May – 1 June) at Te Maungarongo Marae, Ōhope Beach is shaping up to be something really special. Two days of tikanga Māori, Christian faith, great kai, and genuine connection — for Year 11–13 students from Presbyterian churches and schools across Aotearoa.
