The document had been signed that no one should pray for 30 days yet Daniel continued to pray. He was not afraid of the decrees of man because He knew God was bigger.

And whether he knew that God was going to save him from the penalties of going against the law, we know not but he must've known something about God that even Job confesses...

In the words of Job in chapter 12 verse 10 (ESV)
"In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind."
And in the words of Jesus according to the Gospel of Matthew chapter 10 verse 28 (ESV) " And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

Having heard what God has done in the past with the people of old and having experienced ourselves the mighty hand of God, it is that confidence that we carry in prayer this Saturday and no situation will stop us (sickness, tiredness, anxiety, pressures of life), no document against us shall stop us from gathering in the presence of our God having this assurance that,

1. Proverbs 15:29 (ESV) 29 The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
2. Matthew 18:20 (ESV) 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
3. John 14:14 (ESV) 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

This Saturday, we gather again at the Hall to seek God together. Every moment in His presence is an opportunity we won’t waste. Come and be refreshed, strengthened, and filled with the Spirit of God for victory in every area of life.
