Lionel led us through Romans 7ā€“8, unpacking the struggle with sin, our need for rescue, and the freedom Jesus gives.

Good news is meant to be shared.

This week at Belong YA, Jordan led us through a study on evangelism and the good news of the Gospel.

We talked about why we evangelise, what the Gospel message actually is, practical ways we can share our faith, and the importance of walking alongside people afterwards.

One of the biggest reminders of the night was that we arenā€™t responsible for saving people, God is. Weā€™re simply called to faithfully plant seeds, love people well, and trust Him with the outcome.

ā€œThe harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few...ā€ (Matthew 9:37)

If you had the cure for cancer, you wouldnā€™t keep it to yourself. But we have the cure for death.

May we be a generation that isnā€™t ashamed of the Gospel, but willing to live it out and share the hope weā€™ve found in Jesus. šŸŒ¾āœļø

What carries more weight in your life?

A few weeks ago Jade led us in a study where we looked at the fear of God - not as being scared of Him, but living with reverence, awe, and awareness of who He is.

From Deuteronomy 10 to Acts 5, we were reminded that God isnā€™t after image management. Heā€™s after heart transformation.

The fear of God doesnā€™t push us away from Him. It leads us into honesty, obedience, and life.
