Sujan was 14 when he was taken.

When he disappeared from his village in Nepal, his family feared the worst. He had been abducted and taken across the border into India, where he feared he would be sold.

Sujan escaped when his abductors fell asleep on a train. Caritas Nepal worked with local authorities and partners to bring him safely home. Today he is back with his family, back at school, and rebuilding his life.

Behind every trafficking statistic is a child, a family and a community. Combating human trafficking demands cooperation across borders, strong local partnerships and a shared commitment to human dignity.

This is the mission of COATnet, a global Christian network of more than 30 organisations including Caritas Internationalis, which has just launched its new website.

Grief can be isolating, especially when faced with pressure to ‘be happy’ or ‘have it all together’. At Growing Through Grief, the 'Exploring the Seasons of Grief' programme creates a space where you'll be heard, supported, and understood.
The group experience provides an authentic environment to connect with others that fosters genuine understanding and the opportunity to learn ways to navigate change, loss, and grief.
