Wellington New Zealand Temple Groundbreaking
Saturday, 2 August 2025

Elder Taniela B. Wakolo, General Authority Seventy and First Counselor in the Pacific Area Presidency, presided at the groundbreaking services for the Wellington New Zealand Temple on Saturday, August 2, 2025. More than 500 Church members were joined by local government, community, and faith leaders. In his remarks, Dr. Taku Parai of the Porirua New Zealand Stake said, "What we will see and witness from this day forth is a mighty change in our communities and our cities. As we live the gospel, keep the faith, and dedicate ourselves to the work of the Lord, blessings will abound." · Format: Teams of two (doubles)

For the new Salt Lake Temple Visitor’s Centers, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is producing footage highlighting the ministry of Our Saviour, Jesus Christ. This is a solemn endeavour requiring many levels of auditions and approvals. Candidates must be fluent in spoken English.
