Kia ora. We are starting this Sunday a series for the next month or so looking at the relational Jesus - how he related to those he connected with in the gospels, and what that means for us today as we relate and connect with him. You're welcome to join us as we go on this relational journey with Jesus. We meet at 1 Mahunga Drive (end of Oxford St) at 10am each Sunday with great coffee, worship, and whanau time together.

During our nomadic existence here in Masterton, upstairs at Burridges was one of our homes for a couple of years before it was renovated and turned into offices, which have been devastatingly hit by fire in the weekend. We had some great times in that room at our Sunday worship gatherings and also many life events including weddings and baby dedications. Our thoughts and prayers are with Trust House as they consider next steps for this iconic building in town.

Morena. With the current adverse weather conditions we will not be planting this morning outside so here's our alternative plan. We'll gather for church as we do at 10am with some morning tea, and we'll carry on with our series Thriving in this Land - todays session is on The Treaty. There will be lunch at midday where the community will be invited in. For those who would like to stay after lunch, people can head out and plant with the Awatotara Project team if the weather abates. Cool beans! See you at 10 in the shelter and warmth of Moss Hall :-)

Last Sunday we got rained out with partnering with Awatotara Project with our annual community planting day. However it's back on this Sunday at 10am at Mahunga Drive. So don't bring your Sunday best to church, instead bring some gloves, warm clothes, and a good dose of fun as we do some mahi in our community in our backyard! There will be soup and rolls for everyone afterwards in Moss Hall - anyone is welcome to join us. If you love our beautiful creation and love being part of serving and helping in our community then this is the place for you!

Morena :-) Due to the weather the Awatotara Project team have decided to postpone todays community planting day until next Sunday. However we will still have church open this morning - we will have some morning tea and coffee available from 10am, and you're welcome to stay around for the morning for some fellowship and time of connection. Feel free to bring any activities or games. We'll keep warm and dry for this Sunday!

Kia ora - We're looking forward to engaging with Thriving in this Land over the next few weeks at The Tribe. Anyone is welcome to join us on Sundays through August at 10am as we engage with each other, listen to one another, and grow together so that we can all thrive in this amazing and special land of Aotearoa.

Following our combined Pentecost service and a break for Kings Birthday weekend we are back with our Sunday gatherings at 10am. All are welcome as we worship together, engage together in the word, and eat together over fellowship :-)

Kia ora - as it is Kings Birthday weekend we don't have a Sunday gathering at The Tribe. But we do have a shared community meal this coming Tuesday - more details will follow in a separate post
