Our church family stands together in remembrance as we honour the life of the one we lovingly call a Son of the House, a brother, a friend, and a faithful servant of the Lord, whom most of our church affectionately called “Fatty” Willie Tavila Sinclair.

Though his latter years carried hardship, they do not diminish the depth of his influence or the impact he left upon our hearts. For many years our church prayed and fasted for his healing, and while we grieve the absence of his physical presence, we rejoice in the fullness of his restoration. He has entered the place where there is no more sorrow, no more sickness, and pain has lost its power. To God be the glory for the life of our beloved Son.

Willie is remembered for many things, yet to us he remains the kind, loving, laughter filled brother we cherished. He was our gentle giant, a man who devoted more than half his life to our church and our ministry. People may forget, but heaven does not forget his labour of love, his service, and his faithfulness on this side of eternity.

Today we celebrate his life. This week we honour his love. And though this may be his final Sunday in our church, it is not the final chapter of Wi***es story. His legacy continues, his impact remains, and his testimony still speaks.

Our prayers surround Fuimaono and Penerosa Sinclair, Louise and Saia, Losa and Maauga, Tusa and Sula, and the entire Fuimaono & Sinclair families. May the peace of God uphold you, and may His comfort be your strength.

Today, our Sunday School Department honoured one of our most dedicated staff, one who needs no introduction, a faithful daughter of the House.

Sister Irene Iloga Fa’agalu has been instrumental in the growth of our Sunday School Department. Her heart for our church and her quiet strength have shaped the younger generation within our church family.

She leaves our ministry to answer the call of God over her life. We will miss her in our church, but we praise God for the new assignment she has taken on, as she joins our sister church, Come Bless the Lord Samoan Assembly of God in Lynfield, Auckland.

We are just days away from her wedding day, and continue to thank God for the season we had together, what a blessed journey it has been.

It is our prayer that she will continue to flourish and be all who God has created her to be. Just as the Word of the Lord came to Joshua, “As I was with Moses, so shall I be with you”.

We love you Iloga, our newest fiery arrow ❤️

Our Pastor AJ had the privilege of ministering the Word at House of Grace Tongan Assembly of God in Mt Roskill. We extend our love to the Tongan Assemblies of God Assistant Superintendent, Rev. Penitani Manoa, and First Lady for the opportunity to serve the House through the ministry of the Word.
