Our clergy gathered in Putāruru today for a day focused on RCIA, not just how we run programmes, but how we help people move past “information” into real conversion, genuine discipleship, and a true encounter with Christ.

We were privileged to welcome Peter Gilmore (Diocese of Wollongong), who shared his experience of evangelisation, parish renewal, and sacramental formation.

Preparation is never only about structure; it’s about nurturing a relationship with Christ.

We were grateful for a hopeful and inspiring day in the life of the Church.

Catholic Women's League visits Mangakino
It was the pleasure of 'St Joseph's' Mangakino community to host the Catholic Women's League of Tokoroa, Sunday April 19th, for a combined Mass.
With numbers in our wonderful little church boosted to 35, we were able to fill it with music and singing, ably led by their musician, James Coxhead.
The Catholic Women's League is renowned for its history of parish support and comradeship and that was felt, as we prayed together.
The shared lunch, not surprisingly, included an overflow of food, laughter and conversation.
We the community of St Joseph's look forward to a repeat.
