Join us at St Matthew's hall for a four-week series on why Christians are meant to care for the planet!🌱

Every Saturday afternoon in June from 3-4pm we will be hosting a discussion around our responsibility as followers of Jesus to look after the environment and all of God's creation, with a short seminar, some time for discussion and questions, and finishing up with some tea and biscuits.

We'd love to see you there! Email [email protected] for any questions.

Rev. Hamish Dobbie is one of the priests at Tītahi Bay Anglicans. Before moving to Tītahi Bay, he was finishing his ministry training at St David's in Naenae. He enjoys hanging out with his three month old baby, trail running, listening to a good podcast, and a spot of DIY, particularly making furniture.

He loves seeing people's spiritual lives flourish, and hopes to contribute to that, along with all the other churches in the neighbourhood.

Michelle Dobbie is on the leadership team of Tītahi Bay Anglicans. She moved up from Nelson a couple of years ago, where she was part of a church plant for Hope Nelson. She has recently welcomed her first daughter and is enjoying a different pace of life on maternity leave from her primary teaching days. Michelle likes to bake, walk in the bush and is looking forward to one day getting a kayak to enjoy the beautiful waters of the bay.

Michelle has enjoyed getting alongside other people who care about our neighbourhood, like joining in with the Kahotea Stream clean up. She looks forward to building community with more young families in the bay.

Kia ora! With a new team looking after Tītahi Bay Anglicans, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. We're all excited to see you around the Bay!

Holly Morton-Chong is one of the co-leaders of Tītahi Bay Anglicans. Before moving to Tītahi Bay she spent 10 years at Blueprint Anglican church in Wellington city. She loves reading, making new friends and quiz nights!

Holly loves the close community environment of Tītahi Bay and hopes the church can help support those connections.

At St Matthew’s Hall, this morning, about 30 people attended the “My Advance Care Plan” presentation by the Te Whatua Ora. An interesting & lively interactive session, with a lot of dialogues.
