"Look what the Lord has done!"

What a privilege it was to have you, Makuini, ministering and sharing the Gospel with us today. Thank you for boldly speaking truth, life, and the heart of God with such power and grace.

Mihi nui ki a koe, Ps Pare, me te whānau o Nga Puna Wai o te Ora. We are deeply grateful for Kingdom connection, Kingdom partnership, and the life we share in Christ.

To God be all the glory!

What a great night at Reach Young Adults!
We loved spending time together growing in the Lord, building friendships, having plenty of laughs, and enjoying some good snacks.

Tonight we studied The Gift of Encouragement... the God-given ability to speak life into people and their situations. In a world that is quick to criticize, tear down, and discourage, we are called to be different. As followers of Christ, we are called to speak words that strengthen, inspire, and point people back to Jesus.

Our challenge was simple but powerful: Are our words bringing life or death? Are we speaking our opinions, or are we speaking the truth and promises of God's Word? Every day we have opportunities to bring hope where there is despair, peace where there is anxiety, and joy where there is heaviness. Encouragement isn't just being nice, it's submitting and partnering with the Holy Spirit to remind people of who God is and who He says they are.

A big congratulations to the girls for winning the Pictionary Challenge and the boys for taking out the General Knowledge Quiz!
We're looking forward to hearing Fale's testimony and learning more about the spiritual gifts at our next gathering.

See you all tomorrow morning as we come expectant to hear the Word of God through our special guest speaker, Makuini Kokiri.

Tēnā koutou e te whānau,

This Sunday we are blessed to have Makuini with us as our guest speaker. From her early days walking with the Lord at Reach Church, it has been powerful to witness her journey and growth as she continues to step into her Kingdom purpose.

Recognised by the AGNZ movement as a Prophetess, we are excited to hear what the Lord has done and continues to do in her life and ministry.

Come on through! You won’t want to miss it!

“...you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Praise the Lord for the opportunity to fellowship together at the Waikato Pastors Regional Gathering for May. It was an honour to host such an encouraging time of connection, mission stories, and vision for reaching our Jerusalem, our nation, and the nations.

Thank you Ps Paul for the powerful reminder to return mission to action and purpose. AGNZ Missions are on fire to be witnesses to the ends of the earth.

A big thank you to all our amazing helpers who served our pastors and leaders so well with beautiful kai and hospitality.

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalm 133:1

What a beautiful Sunday it was as we came together to celebrate 40 years since Te Awamutu Assembly of God received a miracle provision through a member from Hamilton AOG — a blessing that made it possible to purchase the church building we are still able to fellowship in today.

It was powerful hearing the testimonies from previous Pastors and members who have faithfully been part of the congregation for nearly 70 years. Truly a reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness through every generation.

We didn’t get many photos because we were enjoying being present in the moment, but here are a few captures from throughout the day.

God, we give You all the glory for Your grace, mercy, and provision upon us all.

“This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24

What a beautiful day to celebrate 40 years of God’s faithfulness and provision. Today we remember the miracle testimony of how the hand of God moved through one person’s “yes and amen” to provide the church building we stand in today.

Because of that act of obedience and faith, generations of people have come to know Jesus, been healed, restored, discipled, and blessed through this house of God.

Today we celebrate Him. We honour the testimonies, the sacrifice, and the faithfulness of our past and present Pastors who have journeyed through 80+ years in the AGNZ movement.

The day a small service held in a home over 80 years ago would one day become Reach Church. What started as a gathering of faith became a testimony of God’s goodness, provision, and power through generations.

How marvellous is our God. What He begins, He is faithful to sustain. To God be all the glory for His miraculous provision and unfailing goodness.

Such a powerful night with our young adults 🙌

We came together to grow in Christ, diving into the Word of God and learning about the fruits and gifts of the Spirit. Tonight we focused on the gift of the Word of Knowledge, learning how to listen for God’s voice, recognise what He is saying, and align it with His Word.

It was more than just teaching. It was a moment to understand that this gift is not about us, but about building up others, encouraging hearts, strengthening faith, and pointing people back to Jesus.

We were intentional with sitting in God’s presence, and in that space, there was boldness. There was faith. Young people stepping out, sharing words of knowledge, and trusting God to move through them.

God is raising a generation that listens, discerns, and responds with purpose.

“But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.” 1 Corinthians 14:3
