Want to know what's happening in the parish?

Mainly Music - $4 per family, every Friday during term-time @ 9.30am in the Parish Hall. A group where whanau and tamariki can come together for fun musical activities.

Friday Club - ages 5-13yo @ 5-7pm every Friday during term time in the Parish Hall. A programme for school-aged kids to come together for fun, food and fellowship. Koha invited.

Movie Night - 1st Thursday of every month @ 7pm in the Parish Lounge. A space to come together and enjoy a good movie, with complimentary snacks.

Death Cafe - 3rd Tuesday of every month @ 11am in the Parish Lounge. Come together for tea, coffee, cake and relaxed conversation about death and mortality.

Crop Swap - 4th Saturday of every month @ 9am in the Parish Lounge. An opportunity to share/exchange vegetables, fruit etc. No money changes hands.

We were delighted to gather on Sunday to formally install our new Vicar of St John, The Rev'd Sam Pullenger. We thank God for Sam's service to this parish in recent years, in various roles, and for his continued ministry here as our new Vicar.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Due to the expected weather conditions this Sunday, our 2pm Installation Service is being postponed until next week (19th April - late afternoon). There will be NO service at St John's Parish on 12th April. We apologize to all who have made plans around coming this Sunday, but hope we all stay safe and stay off the roads.
