Te Aroha Cooperating Parish Our Parish combines the traditions of the Presbyterian and Methodist Churches.

Although our parish began in 1978 when the Methodist and Presbyterian parishes in town came together, the two churches have a long history here going back over 100 years.

Te Aroha Cooperating Parish is supporting a local pensioner to get back into housing after a considerable amount of time being homeless and more recently in shared facilities.

He has been accepted for a unit however he needs urgent help to furnish it.

We are on the hunt for anyone who may have the following items that they would be prepared to donate to him....

A bed (King Single, Double or Queen) in clean condition and preferably with mattress.

A small dining table and chairs.

In light of the impending bad weather and out of an abundance of caution our services tomorrow have been cancelled.

We hope the impacts of this weather system are less severe than predicted but we encourage everyone to follow the advice of local authorities and emergency services and if you ever feel your safety or your property is at threat don't hesitate to call 111 and ask for the fire brigade.

Looking for a Maundy Thursday Service tonight? We don't have one this year but you are welcome at St Mark's Anglican Church at 6.30pm for their service.
