Peace is something many of us think about as we contemplate our troubled world. Every Sunday, we light this candle and pray for peace in our world, and peace in the lives of those who face turmoil. Each Thursday and each Sunday, we "share the peace" with each other. How do you like to pray for peace?

In the Family Service today, we thought about passionfruit. You may be familiar with the Christian symbolism of the passionflower, but this was a message about God blessing us through beauty, order and abundance. Just as a passionfruit gives an abundance of seeds, we can share God's blessings abundantly. What do you share abundantly, and what sustains you in this practice of your faith?

With the impending Cyclone and strong winds due to hit us on Sunday morning, we are giving advance notice - which we will confirm tomorrow mid-morning - that we will possibly cancel both the 10.00am services at the Anglican Church and Hall.
