Today Tūwharetoa lost a great leader, our Ariki Tā Tumu Te Heuheu, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by love. He was a beacon for Ngāti Tūwharetoa, yet his aroha, service, mana and leadership certainly reached far beyond us and our rohe.

To honour his memory, Church of the Cross, Turangi will open our doors in love and unity on Tues, Weds, Thurs nights, between 5–6pm, for the public to come and light a candle in his honour.

ALL are welcome.
