Christ Church Anglican Parish Taumarunui Warm welcoming parish. Generally smaller services on the 1 st and 3rd Sunday and a communion service with a guest minister on the 4th Sunday.

We join with St Pauls on the 2nd Sunday of the month. All Sunday Services starting at 10 am.

Save the Date:

Combined Archdeaconry Service — Sunday 20 September. There will be an Archdeaconry service on 20 September at St Luke's, Te Kuiti, followed by a shared lunch with celebratory cake and time for recollections. Come and gather with others from Te Kuiti, Otorohanga, Te Awamutu, Kawhia, Piopio and nearby areas. For those interested there will be an option to share transport.

Pre-Synod Meeting — Monday 21 September, 4:30pm in Te Kuiti (or alternatively on 20 September).

LLM training day - Saturday 19th September. The upcoming training day for Licensed Lay Ministers is a Pilgrimage commencing in Matamata.

Tomorrow (Sunday 10 am) Archdeacon Julie Guest will be with us for a communion service in the lounge, this will be followed by lunch provided and Alpha. All welcome to stay for lunch and alpha. No need to bring anything extra. If you have been thinking about coming along but it has been years or you know someone who you could invite, this Sunday is a great time to come. All very much welcome, we are a small, friendly group.

You are invited to join us - Prayer Service on Sunday, funeral for Merle Jurgens on Monday, Communion Service and Alpha course next weekend.

This Sunday we have an informal service at 10am in the lounge followed by morning tea.

Merle Jurgens at 100.7 years old recently passed away and her funeral will be held on Monday at 11 am followed by a cuppa in the lounge, all welcome. A few were blessed to attend her 100 th birthday in December. Merle put together the centennial book for our church (a wonderful book with so much information), played the organ for many years and much more over her many years in our parish.

Archdeacon Julie will be here on Sunday 2 August for a 10am communion service followed by morning tea and a first Alpha session from about 11:35/11:45am. People are most welcome to come to join for alpha and a cuppa after attending church, a different church service or being at home during church. Please feel free to be in touch with questions or interest. The invite to join us for Alpha is open to all.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers, aunty "mothers", mothers who have angel babies, mothers who have empty nests, father "mothers", mothers with fur babies, and all the other special people who act in a motherly role in someone else's life. You are the best it's not easy doing that important job.
