Tarras Church The Tarras Church was built in 1921 and is located in the Tarras Village. Inquiries are welcomed for the use of the church as a wedding venue and event space.

The Antipodes Quartet unites bold voices, fresh perspectives, and a shared vision - breathing new life into string quartet music. Rooted in tradition, driven by curiosity the musicians explore, connect and reimagine.

Skin & Bone are a five piece acoustic swing band from Dunedin with a combination of 1930’s style swing music along with original tunes that tend toward acoustic rock and contemporary folk music.
With their infectious energy, impressive musical pedigree, and captivating blend of styles, Skin & Bone is a band you won’t want to miss.

Skin & Bone concert at Tarras Church 7.30pm, Friday 14th March:
A blend of old and new in Dunedin's music scene.
Skin & Bone are a five piece acoustic swing band from Dunedin with a combination of 1930’s style swing music along with original tunes that tend toward acoustic rock and contemporary folk music.
The band has recently released their first album ‘Last Bus to Brockville’ featuring a collection of these original tunes together with a sampling of that old style swing.
With their infectious energy, impressive musical pedigree, and captivating blend of styles, Skin & Bone is a band you won’t want to miss. Come along to the Tarras Church for an entertaining musical evening.

Flautist Hannah Darroch and percussionist Justin DeHart bring their unique programme of contemporary and classic pieces to the Tarras Church.
The Darroch/DeHart Duo is dedicated to championing both new and classic pieces for flute and percussion. Known as engaging and highly skilled musicians, their performances introduce audiences to the versatility and colour of their many instrumental textures. For this six-centre national tour, Darroch and DeHart have carefully chosen a selection of dynamic and colourful works by American and New Zealand composers, featuring a diverse range of unique pairings such as piccolo and woodblocks, alto flute and marimba, and alto flute, bass drum, and crotales.

Sharing a collection of new works from her upcoming album, Anna will be joined by guitarist Juan Zorrilla (Mexico) and trombonist Conrad Horne (Australia).
Listeners can expect an interactive evening of storytelling through song, humour and a little audience participation.
