Lectio Divina - Ecclesial Community Sharing Serving the spiritual needs of the Ecclesial Communities of the Diocese of Hamilton, New Zealand

The Filipino Ecclesial Communities or FEC’s are Filipino Catholic Christian communities and devotees in the parishes within the Diocese of Hamilton, New Zealand “as described by the Second Plenary Council of the Philippines (P*P II) as “small communities of Christians, usually of families who gather around the Word of God and the Eucharist”. Preparations for Lectio Divina to encoun

ter the fire of the Spirit and the light of God. Eliminating distractions and the possibility of interruptions.

1) Gather around a table.

2) Put a white tablecloth.

3) Place the Patron Saint’s statue or Holy Image.

4) Have a Crucifix and 2 lighted candles.

5) Flowers (optional)

2) Patron Saint’s Song after the Novena Prayer.

3) Closing Song. Fellowship:

Each individual/family MAY bring food for the fellowship as part of the ECS Ecclesial Community Sharing.
