To any interested descendants in New Zealand of Lieutenant C.K. Rooke (Military Cross, awarded 15 July 1944) I came into possession of his old unrestored leather much-traveled suitcase by virtue of my hobby of restoring these suitcases to their former glory. If any of his descendants wish to purchase it before it is on-sold they should contact me in the first instance.
