Thought for the week ....
Hi All you Amazing Women of God!
I am loving the Presence of God in our Services lately and the word that is being preached.
In case you haven’t noticed the world seems to be in a “Crazy Place” at the moment! It is easy to get caught up in the headlines of the media and be swept away by all the anxiety and panic they evoke!
The Lord has been reminding me that there is nothing on earth that he hasn’t seen before! There have always been wars (big and small). There are food shortages and petrol Crisis constantly in other parts of the world - and God is still performing miracles and bringing hope to the broken hearted! I’m not minimising that these things can cause great distress for people but I think the Lord wants to remind us that in it all, we don’t have to live by the world’s expectations, we live by God’s expectations in HIS KINGDOM.
I would like you to take a moment and read Mathew 24:1-14 (or the whole chapter if you want the full amazing outcome)
This explains a lot of what is happening in the world right now, like I said it’s not a surprise to God. The ultimate showdown with Jesus is coming and he will be returning in all his Glory - the best Good news ever!
So my question today is while we live in trying times, which Kingdom are you listening to and living from?
I have been choosing to laugh at some of the headlines as I remember God’s words to me and our family about who he is and what is possible with him! I choose Joy over anxiety as I get fitter walking and not taking the car everywhere!
Maybe – just maybe, these times will turn us back towards each other like John Preached yesterday with a love that serves one another when we are in need, a love that overflows from our intimate moments with God. Could this be the Churches BEST OF TIMES and not the Worst of Times in history to show the love and hope of Jesus to our friends and family?!
If you are struggling with your circumstances at the moment please reach out to those around you and get support, but also remember that God holds the world in his hands, and that includes you 😊

Would you like to be a part of a Community Outreach that invites people into the Easter Story?!
I'm still needing a few people to be guides, Roman Soliders , people at the welcome table etc. Set up Thursday 4-8pm , pack up Sunday after lunch. If you have a few hours to spare on either days I can find something to suit! Such fun as well! PM me!

The Easter Journey is an interactive walk through experience. A tour guide will take you through significant days leading up to and including the crucifixion of Jesus. This is a free event suitable for all ages. Some scenes may be unsettling for younger viewers, so parental discretion is recommended.
Bookings required, tours every 15 minutes.
Friday 1.00pm - 5.00 pm
Saturday 10.00am - 1.00pm

Two services available this week. Either come and join us at camp for a 9.30am service out at Bethany Park, Kaiteriteri or join Trevor Davis for a Cafe style church at 10am.

What's God been talking to you about for the new year!?
A few of us did a Roma Waterman Prophetic Reset course last week and day one was ask God for a word for the year.
I asked for a word for the women and he gave me Re-Connection!
I felt it was a word about places in our lives where we have not fully connected with him or places that we were once close but not now. He wants those places to become permanently connected with him again. He is wanting to establish firm foundations that don't waver back and forth in our circumstances or the storms of life and in our understanding of who God is towards us. He LONGS for re-connection with you!

NEXT THURSDAY OUR TE KORU WOMAN'S GROUP IS GOING TREASURE HUNTING
Come and join us Thursday 14th at 9.30am at the church cafe when we will partner up and seek God to show us treasure (people) to go and minister to in Richmond. A Time of Outreach before the Flood Stadium Event that weekend.
Even if you haven't been out on the streets before this is a great opportunity to partner with someone and take a leap of Faith! God wants to show his power and love to others and we get to be his hands and feet!
Come earlier at 9.15 for a coffee then we will begin to pray together before setting out. If you would rather stay and pray for those going out we would love to have you there as well!
Will be a Fantastic Morning!!
