The vocals-only version of "Ma Te Marie," performed by Takutai Moana Koea Ki Akarana, showcases the exceptional purity and emotion of the artist's voices. Using AI technology and stem separation, the guitar accompaniment from an earlier rendition has been seamlessly removed. This refined version allows listeners to fully appreciate the depth and clarity of the vocals, evoking a profound sense of inspiration.

Francis writes; I remember waiting for kapa haka practices to start at 4pm and some of the cousins would be singing their Ratana hīmene. It use to annoy me because I didn't know the words to these awesome tunes lol. So, here we are after a day's mahi, and we acknowledge the birth of Tahupōtiki Wiremu Ratana by singing this hīmene. Though we are not of the faith, we still acknowledge our close friends and whānau who are of the hāhi Ratana celebrating his birthday.

Ngā mihi nui...with Kaiora Tipene

Despite recent challenges at Tipene Funerals, the Morehu whanau stands firmly by your side. We have faith that remarkable individuals like you can overcome any adversity. Piki Te Ora Koutou, nga whanau Tipene.

We were so fortunate to be graced by the beautiful performance of two waiata earlier by these three lovely kotiro. Now, they are sharing Waiata Whakamoemiti, #13 Koutou Katoa Ra. This cherished song, with varying lyrics, has resonated across many Haahi in Aotearoa and holds special memories for generations.

A warm and heartfelt thank you to the incredible Mum and her radiant daughters!

Another breathtaking rendition of #58 Tupono Mai Nga Iwi Nei, highlighting the remarkable talent of three kotiro, who I believe come from a small settlement in the Far North, a place many morehu whanau proudly call home.
Nga mihi koutou.
