Want to help those struggling in your community but not sure how? Our foodbank is very busy at the moment, as whānau continue to struggle with the cost of living. Our shelves are looking bare, BUT it's super simple to help by donating a little kai 🙌

There are three easy ways to help!
💙 donate items online at foodbank.org.nz and select Pukekohe as your foodbank - it's just like online shopping with items coming straight to us!
❤️ drop items into our centre at 1 Tobin Street during office opening hours - Tuesday-Friday 9am-3pm
💛 drop NON-PERISHABLE items into the donation bins at the checkout of your local Woolworths store - Pukekohe, Pukekohe South, or Pokeno

It’s a busy week with our Red Shield Appeal, but we’ll still be gathering on Sunday morning for our weekly church service, a time to pause and reconnect with each other and God 🙏

We’ll be continuing our series on community, and also acknowledging all the beautiful wahine in our faith community for Mother’s Day 💐

Our services are family-friendly and open to everyone - we’d love to see you there! 🥰

Today kicks off our Red Shield Appeal! Our collectors will be out and about throughout Pukekohe, Pokeno, and Waiuku this week, raising funds for our frontline services like our foodbank.

Each site will have a bucket and eftpos machine so it’s easy to donate, but you can also donate online here - easy as! 🙌

What an amazing time we had together at our community meal last night! 🙌🥳

We managed to squeeze in over 100 people and feasted together on pumpkin soup, fry bread, beef samosas, and potato salad, followed by ice cream, fruit salad, and chocolate sauce - YUM! 😋 and our tamariki made the most beautiful gift boxes for their mums and mum-figures for Mother’s Day 🥰💐

A huge shout out to the legends at Franklin Attendance Service for their mahi in the kitchen - such beautiful servant-hearted people who cooked and served delicious food, with love and care for our whānau and community ❤️
