We love the Church! 🙌 come join us this week as we gather - there'll be teaching, prayer, music and singing, and great fellowship after the service ❤️

With the election fast approaching, it's important to be informed about the issues that matter to our communities. We are seeing a huge increase in demand for our foodbank as whānau continue to struggle with the cost of living, and these stats from New Zealand Council Of Christian Social Services highlight these levels of poverty in Aotearoa New Zealand and Auckland specifically.

We had such a good community meal last night, gathering at the table with about 75 people from across our community ❤️ Huge thanks to the awesome team from Franklin Baptist Church Young Adults for your mahi in the kitchen - the nachos and apple crumbles were so delicious, we didn't have any kai leftover!

Our next free community meal is on Friday 6 November, with the legends at Franklin Attendance Services cooking up a storm! Mark it in your calendars and see you there 👍

Join us for church this Sunday! We have an exciting service where we will be enrolling new soldiers and adherents (members) of our corps. Our service will be full of celebration, testimonies, and sacred moments - it's going to be a goodie! 🔥

After the service, we will continue the celebrations by sharing lunch together - please bring some kai to share ❤️

Whānau are really struggling with the cost of living right now - we can tell because our foodbank shelves are nearly empty. Our community has always been so generous in helping us support those who need it, and we're reaching out to you once again for your help!

There are three easy ways to help:
💙 donate items online at foodbank.org.nz and select Pukekohe as your foodbank - it's just like online shopping with items coming straight to us!
❤️ drop items into our centre at 1 Tobin Street during opening hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-3pm
💛 drop non-perishable items into the donation bins at the checkout of your local Woolworths store - Pukekohe, Pukekohe South, or Pokeno

If you need help with food, you are not alone - come on in! Our foodbank is open Wednesday and Fridays 10am-12pm and you just need to bring photo ID. Fridays are often really busy so plan ahead and come Wednesday if you can ☺️
