We had an awesome night at our community meal last night, with Filipino Grapevine preparing an incredible meal for us in the kitchen! Over 70 people enjoyed a delicious feast of Beef Caldereta and Adobong Chicken with rice, and Buko Pandan for dessert. It was wonderful to learn more about Filipino culture and enjoy some traditional food together - thank you Filipino Grapevine for sharing your culture with us! What a beautiful way to be community together 🥰

Make sure to save the date for our next free community meal on Friday 4 September at 6pm. Our meals are for anyone and everyone to enjoy a delicious meal and great community together. We’ve got Mai Lighthouse in the kitchen and we heard there might be brisket and banoffee pie on the menu… YUM! 😋

Whānau coming to our foodbank at the moment are asking for cornflakes, but unfortunately we’re all out! Check out this special at Woolworths though 🤩 why not pick up a bag or two at your weekly grocery shop to help a whānau struggling this week ❤️

You can either drop off donations to our centre Tuesday-Friday 10am-3pm (we're at 1-3 Tobin Street!) or in the donation bin by the checkout/community notices at your local Woolworths - thank you 🥰

As winter sets in and more whānau come to us for support, our foodbank shelves are very bare - can you help us restock?

There are three easy ways to help!
💙 donate items online at foodbank.org.nz and select Pukekohe as your foodbank - it's just like online shopping with items coming straight to us!
❤️ drop items into our centre at 1 Tobin Street during opening hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-3pm
💛 drop non-perishable items into the donation bins at the checkout of your local Woolworths store - Pukekohe, Pukekohe South, or Pokeno
