Some goodbyes are harder than others, simply because of how much love has been shared along the way. 🥺🤍

As our church family embraced our beloved Tamā & Tinā, every hug carried years of love, gratitude, memories and a quiet thank you for all that you have poured into our lives. There were tears, long embraces and hearts that weren’t quite ready to let go.

Though this chapter has come to an end, the love, lessons and memories you leave with us will remain woven into the life of our church for many years to come. This may be goodbye for now, but you will forever be a part of us. 🤎

Our final Sunday service led by our beloved Tamā. 🥹🤎

An emotional day for us all, as we sat together for one last service under Tamā’s leadership — listening to his words, sharing in worship, and taking in a moment we knew would hold a special place in our hearts.

For so many years, Tamā has faithfully stood before us, leading, teaching and guiding our church with love and dedication. Today carried the weight of those many years — the memories, the lessons, the sacrifices and the countless lives touched along the way. 🤍

Though there were many tears, there was also so much gratitude. Grateful for the years we have been blessed with, for the foundation you have helped build, and for a legacy that will continue to live on within our church family.

A chapter may be closing, but everything you have poured into this church and into each of us will remain long after this final service. Your words, your guidance and the example you have set will continue to carry through the generations that follow 🤍

Day 2 Fa’aaloaloga for our beloved Tāmā Nove & Tīnā Penina— a beautiful expression of fa’aaloalo, reciprocity and gratitude through the exchange of customary ceremonial gifts.

In our Samoan culture, these gifts carry far more than their material value. They represent love, respect, acknowledgement and the bonds shared between families and our Ekalesia. Each offering tells a story of service, connection and the deep relationships nurtured over many years.

A beautiful reminder that when we give from the heart, we give a piece of ourselves. 🌺
