Last week, we farewelled two sisters as they headed overseas to serve God and His mission. 🌏🤍

Alyssa has now made her way to Thailand 🇹🇭 and Hannah to Sydney 🇦🇺

We’re so grateful for the way they have served and blessed our church family, and we’re excited to see all that God has in store for them in this next season.

We’ll miss you both and wish you all the very best! 🙏✨

What a powerful message on Sunday! 🙌 Purpose Born out of Pain.

Though overwhelming at times, God allows us to walk through difficult moments so that we don't become rooted in our circumstances, but instead become firmly rooted in Him. ❤️

Sundays!! ⭐️🙌

Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Always a privilege to BE DEVOTED!! To live out God’s word with God’s people 🫂

✝️🤍 The order of service was MOVING, with Jane Zhang sharing vulnerability about the Cross and its connection with compassion in her life!

We then heard a FIERY lesson from young Campus Preacher Gabriel Jhang!! Talking to “PURPOSE BORN OUT OF PAIN” 👏

An encouragement that our perception on pain isn’t always necessarily true.. pain can be a helpful alarm to be realigned with Him 🚨❤️‍🔥

RENEWED!! 🌊🤍

Last year, simply asking for directions, our new sister stopped someone on the street. What began as a small conversation quickly turned into a deep chat about God and the Bible. From there, they began meeting over coffee, studying the Bible and discovering who God really is. ❤️🙌

She grew up without God and faced a difficult and unstable upbringing. After leaving home and experiencing homelessness, she found herself in a women’s refuge, working through addiction and the brokenness of her past. For much of her life, she lived with a “me against the world” mindset — searching for something that could fill the emptiness she carried.
But deep down, she knew something was missing. She wanted her life to change. So she began searching — and she opened the Bible. 📖✨

When she first walked into church, she was anxious and convinced she didn’t belong. But she walked through the doors anyway. As she came to know God, everything began to change. She learned what it meant to seek Him with her whole heart, making time to pray, study and grow alongside other women. And the more she fell in love with God, the more she wanted others to know Him too. She began sharing her faith with coworkers, friends, family and even strangers, always looking for an opportunity to point people towards God. 🤩

She learned what it meant to forgive, let go of bitterness and surrender the identity she had built around simply surviving. She wantedu to leave nothing behind that would hold her back from fully surrendering to God. ❤️‍🔥

And on 2 August 2026, she was baptised!! 🌊🙌
She made Jesus Lord over her life, choosing to leave her past behind and step into a new life with a clear conscience, a heart surrendered to God, and a deep desire to live for Him. She knows she won’t be perfect, but she knows she doesn’t have to walk alone anymore!!

Saved 🤍🌊

Born and raised in the Philippines, our new sister’s journey to God has been one of perseverance, surrender, and incredible conviction 🇵🇭✨ Growing up, she experienced a lot within her family, leaving wounds that made forgiveness – especially towards her father – a constant struggle.

At 21, she moved to Hamilton and began attending church. While she believed in God, He wasn’t yet the centre of her life. After experiencing hurt within the church, she became discouraged and never fully committed to pursuing the relationship with God she knew she needed.

A few years later, she moved to Auckland for university, knowing no one. Feeling alone, she prayed one simple prayer, that God would surround her with people who truly loved Him. She promised God that if He answered that prayer, she wouldn’t turn back. 🙏❤️

Not long after, God answered in a way she never expected. Through an Instagram message, she was invited to study the Bible. Without hesitation, her response was simply, “Where and when?” 📲✨

As she studied the Scriptures, God’s Word challenged her heart and transformed her perspective. 📖💡

There came a point where she stepped away from Bible studies for a week, not because she wanted to give up, but because she wanted to wrestle with the truth for herself. During that week, she went back through every First Principles study on her own, searching the Scriptures with honesty and an open heart ⭐️🙌

When she returned, everything had changed. Her uncertainty had become deep conviction. Her hunger for God was undeniable, and her determination to live according to His Word was evident to everyone around her. She chose to fight for her faith, surrender her hurt, extend forgiveness, and make being right with God her greatest priority. 🔥🤍

And this week, she made the greatest decision of her life, being baptised into Christ! 🌊🙌

What started with a prayer for godly friendships became the beginning of a brand new life with God ❤️
