We celebrated Tongan Language Week with Mum and Dad at the office — and of course, they brought a feast!

What made it special was hearing their stories. My Mum is Samoan but speaks fluent Tongan. My Dad is Tongan but speaks fluent Samoan. Together they bridge both cultures and both languages.

Dad even pulled out the ukulele and sang us a song.

Grateful for parents who still show up, support me and my team, and remind us that language and culture are worth celebrating.
