HOMESTAY FAMILIES

Awatapu College has been hosting international students from some 15 different countries for about 30 years. We require short-term homestay families to host our students who arrive towards the end of January for Term 1 or longer. We have students arriving for 2 weeks, some for 3-10 weeks and others for 6-12 months. There is a remuneration of $335.00 per week.

Would you be able to help us by hosting a student? Being a homestay family is a rewarding experience and an excellent opportunity to discover new cultures and languages. We provide 24-hour support for both the homestay family and the international student.

On Sunday, 6th October, Franco, Julia, and Odette led the 10am, 5pm, and 7pm services at All Saints Palmerston North, focusing on the work of City Mission. Over 100 cans and a few boxes of non-perishable food items were donated by parishioners. City Mission is very grateful for your generous donations! Thank you! The food will be distributed to families in need within our community.
