St Albans is one part of Christ’s body in our city, seeking to worship, serve and communicate God in all aspects of our lives; and to encourage one another on our journeys with Jesus. We are a contemporary, family-oriented church which seeks to be biblical, mission-focussed and open to the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit. Our church includes people from 18 ethnic groups. We are committed

to small groups, youth, being kids friendly, sharing the gospel, overseas mission partnership and community involvement, as well as having a heritage of charismatic renewal and a recognition of the Jewish roots of our faith. At Sunday services, all ages begin together in our relaxed and friendly style of worship and during the service move to their age-related programmes for pre-schoolers, primary-schoolers, intermediate and high school groups.

Come and join us for Messy Church next Friday 11th September. Please note the change of time below.

We will be exploring the theme of the parable of “The Hidden Treasure and the Pearl”.

This Messy Church will look a little bit different as we will be meeting at the later time of 5.30pm and sharing dinner together, and a short message. Dinner will be served at 5.30 sharp. Invite someone new along and come and join us for this FREE outreach night. Everyone welcome. See you there.

This Morning Is our SERVING SUNDAY!

We have NO services at St Albans BUT we do have some other exciting FREE things happening for our community between 11.00-1.00pm. Check out what is on offer below.

We would love to see you there and meet some of our local neighbours.

This weekend will look a little bit different around here.

We will have 11 teams out and about in our local Hokowhitu Community serving and helping people with jobs around their properties. We will also have our baking brigade out sharing fresh baking to households in our area.

At church on Sunday from 11.00-1.00pm we have:
*A FREE CARWASH
*Our LINK CAFE with FREE food and drink and live music
* All age fun activities- eg: games, crafts
*Free Sausage Sizzle

No need to register just come on down and bring the family. You can relax with a nice cup of coffee, you will be entertained and your car washed. Happening rain or shine.

Come and join us THIS AFTERNOON from 4.30-6.30pm for a fun filled night.

We will begin our time together with some afternoon tea and then we will be exploring 'The Wise and foolish builders' Parable through storytelling, games and crafts. To finish the night we will have a yummy dinner and dessert together.

No Cost, no registration just come and join us and learn how God loves you! See you there.

On Sunday 23rd August we have our Serving Sunday.

We will be deploying teams into our immediate Hokowhitu neighbourhood to do jobs for people. We also have a great FREE programme of activities happening on site.

We are looking for a couple more houses to visit. If you live within walking distance of St Albans and you would like any of the jobs listed below done then please reach out to us as soon as possible.

Otherwise check out what we have on offer happening at St Albans on the day and come down and join in. A reminder everything that is happening on the day is FREE!
