đź“– Get to know God through His Word.

The Bible isn’t just an old book filled with stories, it’s where we discover God’s character, His promises, His love for us, and the story of His relationship with humanity.

Whether you’re someone who has read the Bible for years, or you’ve never opened one before, there’s always something new to discover.

Take a few minutes today. Open the Word. Read a little. Ask questions. Be curious.

You never know where the journey might lead. 🤍

DID YOU KNOW? ✝️ 2/12

The cross is probably the most recognisable symbol of Christianity, but why?

Jesus was crucified on a cross, an ex*****on method used by the Roman Empire at the time.

For Christians, however, the cross represents much more than Jesus’ death. It is connected with the Christian belief that Jesus willingly gave His life for humanity and that His death was followed by His resurrection.

That’s why the cross can represent both sacrifice and hope.

When Christians see a cross, they are reminded of Jesus and the heart of the Christian faith.

DID YOU KNOW? đź“– 1/12

The Bible isn’t actually one single book, it’s a collection of 66 books written by different authors over many centuries.

It’s divided into two main sections: the Old Testament and the New Testament.

The Old Testament contains the story of God’s relationship with His people before Jesus, including history, poetry, prophecy and wisdom.

The New Testament begins with the life of Jesus and tells the story of His ministry, death and resurrection, followed by the beginnings of the Christian Church.

Together, they tell the story of God’s relationship with humanity and the Christian understanding of His plan of salvation.

✨ Two Testaments. One story.

🙏 A quiet place to pray

Our church is open for prayer on weekdays. Come in, find a quiet space, and spend some time in prayer and reflection.

It’s also a lovely opportunity to familiarise yourself with our church before joining us on a Sunday - especially if you’re feeling a little nervous about coming through the doors.

Come as you are. You are welcome here. 🕊️
