As Christians, what do we want to see from politicians? - Stuart Lange As Christians, what do we want to see from politicians? - Stuart Lange

All political parties have values, and feel they do good for everyone. However, there are both good and not-so-good aspects in all political parties. No political party is immune to ideological bias, prejudice, influence from vested interests, internal conflict, and making policies and promises…

FORMED: How God Grows a People

What is God doing in his people?

The Christian life is about more than believing the right things or trying harder to be a better person. It is about God himself shaping ordinary people into the likeness of Christ.

Over the next eight weeks, we'll explore how God forms us through his Word, his Spirit, his Church, his promises, and even through life's joys and struggles.

Whether you've followed Jesus for many years, you're just beginning to explore faith, or you're simply asking deeper questions, we'd love you to join us for this journey.

This Sunday we begin with Jesus' invitation:

"Remain in me."(John 15)

We'll discover that Christian growth begins not with striving, but with abiding in Christ.

Can't make it every week? A new 'Roots' podcast will also be released each Wednesday, exploring the deeper theological questions behind Sunday's message.

We'd love to welcome you.

HBCPC is transitioning to a new database to help us manage our member information more accurately and carefully. As part of that process, we are looking for one volunteer to help us verify the new database against the old one and make sure the transfer has come across correctly.

There are about 130 records to check, and we will provide access to both databases. This would be a great opportunity for someone with a computer, a careful eye for detail, and a little time to serve in a clear and practical way. The task has clear boundaries and expectations, and it does not need to be completed in one sitting.

If you are interested, please speak to Werner or contact the church office.

We'd love for you to take a look — and feel free to share it with anyone who might want to connect with our community here on the Hibiscus Coast.

At Hibiscus Coast Presbyterian Church, we are intentionally growing as a multicultural and multigenerational church community.

If you are Mandarin-speaking or Japanese-speaking and looking for a local church family, we would love to welcome you this Sunday.

Our main spoken and sung language is English. We are excited to now also offer live transcription and translation in both Mandarin and Japanese during our services. It is one small but meaningful step in helping more people feel at home as we worship Jesus together.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you come. Just come as you are.
