Global Week of Prayer started yesterday and the theme this year is "At the Name of Jesus."
This Global Week of Prayer, we’re once again creating the Coast Prayer Room in the heart of Silverdale Village, joining churches around the world and the 24/7 Prayer movement in a week of united prayer.
The Prayer Room is a place to meet with God, be still, seek His presence and pray for His Kingdom to come.
So come and take your place in the Prayer Room. Book a time to pray on your own, gather with friends or your small group, or join one of our open prayer gatherings.
Let’s seek Jesus together and pray for our community, our nation and our world.

Our worship night Behold is coming up, and we are so expectant for what God is going to do. We have Omega Levine joining us on the night as well. Omega will be sharing his story and joining us in worship as we make space to encounter God together. We’re believing for a night where hearts are stirred and people encounter the goodness and presence of God.

Kia ora Vineyard whānau,

Like us, you will be seeing horrific scenes from Nepal on the news, after the devastating natural disaster unfolding there. Hundreds have died and many more still are missing.
The Vineyard Church has many churches in this area, under the leadership of Noel Isaacs, the National Director. He has reached out to us asking for help and prayer, as churches there have been devastated, and church members are missing.
As a movement, we would like to make an appeal to support our brothers and sisters in Nepal.
As Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 12:26, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it.” Our hearts are broken for those who have been affected and we want to stand alongside them in prayer, practical support, and generosity. Vineyard Aotearoa are planning to send a combined offering to Nepal at the end of next week to support relief and recovery efforts.

Prayer Pilgrimage: A quiet afternoon with God at Minniesdale Chapel

Come away for an afternoon of prayer, silence and rest at Minniesdale Chapel — a beautiful, historic little chapel overlooking the Kaipara Harbour.

This is an invitation to slow down, step away from the noise, and simply be with God.

Saturday 5 September, 1pm–4pm
$10 (covers venue koha and afternoon tea)

Carpooling can be organised. We also invite you to embrace the journey itself as part of the pilgrimage as we make our way there! Come as you are. Leave the busyness behind. Enjoy simply being with God!
