We’re open each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am–1pm, and every week we’re reminded what a privilege it is to serve our Orewa community.

Big thank you to all of our team for your dedication and hard work every week, we are so grateful 🙏

It’s such a joy to share fellowship, welcome new faces, and connect with people from all walks of life. Serving together truly is a blessing.

OREWA COMMUNITY DINING ❤️

What a blessing tonight was! 🙏

A huge thank you to our amazing team for coming together and preparing a beautiful meal to feed and connect with our community here in Orewa. ❤️

Every week, we have people from all walks of life joining us, our homeless community, people who are lonely and simply need someone to talk to, and families who are struggling to make ends meet as the cost of living continues to rise, with the increasing cost of food, petrol, and everyday essentials.

Tonight wasn’t just about providing a meal. It was about providing a place where people feel welcomed, valued, loved and cared for. 🫶🍽️

We are so grateful to the Lord for providing us with this space in our old Orewa church building, allowing us to open the doors and serve our community in practical ways. 🙏

To everyone who cooked, prepared, served, cleaned, welcomed people, and helped behind the scenes, THANK YOU! ❤️

We couldn’t do this without you.

Together, we get to be God’s hands and feet in our community, showing His love not just through words, but through action.

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18 🙏❤️

🍽️ Food for the hungry.
🤝 Friendship for the lonely.
❤️ Hope for the hurting.
🙏 Love from Jesus.

🙏 Thursday Blessings at Our Op Shop, open for our Community Dining ❤️

What a beautiful Thursday serving our Dining Community through our Open Op Shop 👗👕👖
So many were blessed with clothing and practical support, living out Isaiah 58:6–7 in real ways.

May we continue to give to the homeless and struggling families in our community. As representatives of Jesus Christ, we become His hands and feet, sharing His love through simple acts of kindness.

God is good ❤️🙏✝️

🔥 Awesome Kingdom Bible Study! 🔥

What a blessing tonight to spend time with our people from Community Dining as we opened God’s Word together and studied the beautiful topic of the Sabbath. 🙏📖

We also had our Church Youth learning how to dissect Scripture—breaking down the Word of God, understanding its meaning, asking the right questions, and discovering how to apply it to their lives. ❤️📖

What an incredible skill for the next generation of disciples! We want to see our young people not just read the Bible, but know how to study it, understand it, and share it with others. 🔥

It’s amazing to see our community coming together, asking questions, discovering biblical truth, and growing in their relationship with Jesus.

From the community to the Word, and from the Word to the world! 🌎🔥

Praise God for what He is doing through our Community Dining and Kingdom Bible Study ministry. 🙌

🤝 COMMUNITY CONNECT ❤️

What a great morning connecting with people from our community as we prepare for Community Dining tonight! 🍽️

It was a beautiful time of fellowship, conversation, laughter, and simply being present with one another. Sometimes, the greatest ministry begins with something as simple as showing up, listening, and letting people know they matter. 🙏

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone tonight for another evening of good food, friendship, and connection. ❤️

So proud of our little church in Orewa! ⛪️

What a privilege it is to see how God has used our little church to reach our community and fulfil His will and purposes.

The Lord truly goes before us and prepares the way. We are simply His hands and feet, willing to go where He leads and serve where He calls us.

God brings different people into our path at the right time and the right place to accomplish His work. Every person has a part to play, and when we make ourselves available, God can use us in ways we never imagined.

May God receive all the glory, honour and praise! 🙌👆

Because we are not the ones doing the work, God is!
We are simply His hands, His feet, and His vessels.

Philippians 2:13

“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

What an incredible night of food, fellowship, and testimony!

A huge thank you to our brother Jason Rogers, who is now living in Australia and is here in New Zealand for couple of days. Jason came all the way from South Auckland to share his powerful testimony with our Orewa Community Dining family. 🙏🔥

It was also so good to see his family here tonight. What a blessing to have you all with us!

🍽️ Thank you Gary & Yvonne for preparing and serving such a delicious meal tonight. You are both such a blessing! ❤️

And a massive thank you to everyone who helped with the setup, serving, and cleanup tonight. We truly appreciate each one of you. 🙌
