Here's a few photo highlights from the Easter Journey 2025! What a phenomenal weekend! It was a huge success despite the poor weather over the weekend with over 200 people from our community and beyond coming through our doors to experience the story of Easter!

As the weather was going to be wet and windy we made a call at the start of the week to go with our wet weather plan and set up our planned stations indoors. The main church building was renovated with pews moved, stage partly dissembled and additions of 7 red arches created by Debbie Singleton to represent the seven times Jesus bled for us on the way to, and on, the cross coupled with a poem written by David Tait “Seven Times Shed For Me.” A driftwood empty tomb created by Jodi Prinz on the stage was at the end of the arches waiting for visitors to see when they came through the hanging red curtains. The St John’s Lounge was a relaxed café space with food and drink available throughout the weekend and activities for both children and adults.

The purpose of the Easter Journey was to give visitors a sensory experience of what Jesus went through for us and experience the hope He offers us when all hope seems lost. We definitely achieved this as all senses were engaged in one way or another from the Easter essential oils and coffee blowing through the buildings, to the story of the gospel being shared over the speakers, to the tactile nailing of red ribbons to the cross on the front deck!

Thank you to the Easter Journey 2025 Team for all your wonderful contributions🥰🥰🥰
