This morning at Papakaio, under clear skies and beautiful weather, we gathered as a community for a meaningful ANZAC service—honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who served, 110 years on. With around 100 people in attendance, the turnout was a wonderful reflection of our strong community spirit. As we also reflect on Easter, we’re reminded of the greatest act of love: Jesus giving His life so that we might live in freedom and hope. Today was a powerful reminder of legacy, service, and the hope we carry forward together. Lest we forget.
