CHURCH FUNDRAISER THIS SATURDAY from 09:30 - 12:30!

We need to replace the roof and make external weatherproofing repairs, your assistance will be gratefully received.

Sale of loved items, something for everyone.

Have a cup of tea / Greek coffee and a cake / biscuit, $5
Raffle to be drawn at 12 noon.

There are too many items to include photos of everything, but there are children's bikes, light-up little houses decorations, porcelain dolls besides much more.

This weekend there will be:

On Saturday a liturgy at 9:30am - the Saturday of Souls;
Also on Saturday, vespers at 6pm;

On Sunday, Holy Pentecost, liturgy at 9:30am.

Fr Andronikos will be serving.

Liturgy will be served this Sunday 19th by Fr Joachim

This Sunday is known as "Thomas Sunday" after the disciple Thomas who said he would not believe the resurrection "Except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe."

After 8 days (this Sunday) when the disciples were again gathered together and Thomas was with them, the Lord Jesus came while the doors were shut. Standing in their midst, He said "Peace be unto you"; then He said to Thomas, "Bring hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not unbelieving, but believing." After Thomas saw for himself he cried out with faith "My Lord and my God."

If you are unable to attend some/all services Fr Andronikos suggests that you try to attend Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday evenings.

Palm Sunday service (tomorrow) will be followed by a lunch of fish and chips. If you wish to bring something please ensure it's fasting - so no dairy or meat, though fish, oil and wine are allowed.
