It’s that time of year and we are inviting whānau to send in the full name and a quality image of your loved one who has passed away during the past year who you would like us to put on our annual Maumahara Presentation. Send this detail to Waiora Kireka [email protected]
We are putting the presentation together on Monday 20 November. Please send your information as soon as possible. The presentation plays in the Ngāti Kahungunu Annual General Meeting on 25 November and is placed on our iwi website. It is also sent out through our iwi page after the AGM.

Highlighted points;

- Respect in every aspect, to eachother, whanau in and around the urupa.

- Communicating to all

- Drinking - respectfully, once this is not and gets out of hand, it will be banned.

- Removing any rubbish that you or your whanau create.

- Be mindful of space and where you place your seating in our whanau urupa, impacts on maintaining our urupa.

- Rangimarie, wairua, aroha for our Tipuna and our loved ones...xx

Darren, Cobb & I visited our Kaumatua Aunty Hera this morning and we are inviting you all to a hui at Waiohiki Urupa this Wednesday November 8th at 4:30pm. We want to Korero about our Tikanga & Kawa for our Urupa but want your whakaaro too.
No more negative Korero about last night please Whānau. Moving forward. Said with Love & definitely guided by our Aunty Hera. 💜💜💜
